School of Computer Studies (SCS) of the Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute ofTechnology (MSU-IIT) is happy to announce the holding of the Iligan City Computing Fair (ICCF). Now on its eleventh year, the ICCF is a gathering of students, teachers, professionals and enthusiasts from Iligan Cityand neighboring communities and from as far away as Davao and Zamboanga cities to celebratecomputing. The 11’th Iligan City Computing Fair will be held on September 23-25, 2013 with the theme,“More Than Computing.”
The ICCF is the first-ever regional computing fair in Mindanao which started in 2002. Since then, we haveshowcased friendly competitions in Open Computer Programming, Quiz Show for high school and collegelevels, Computer Hardware Servicing, and on-the-spot Digital Arts and Multimedia Competitions. The 3-day event also offers educational engagements through ICT Exhibits, Technical Seminars for Professionals,Students’ Research Forum, and tour of the campus and of some of the scenic spots in Iligan. The event isalso a social melting pot for the participants where camaraderie and friendships may be formed. It alsooffers an opportunity for employment through the OJT and Job Fair during the event
