I bought 2 kilos of brown rice here at Mercado, and good that I brought my Nikon D40 with me.
Ever since when I was a kid, the market near the pier is called “mercado”, while the market in Pala-o is “supermarket”.

This was about 6:30pm, a busy time for buyers and sellers.
The other side of the road, are stalls that sell rice, sugar, salts, basically dry goods.
